Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for senior care staff to work in residential and nursing homes based in Scunthorpe.
This will be working as agency bank staff.
Essence of the role: is to provide high quality residential care for the elderly living with a variety of conditions which may include physical and learning disabilities or dementia.
Experience/ Knowledge/ Qualification:
-Previous care experience is essential
-Must have an NVQ level 2/3 in Health and Social Care
-Must be medication trained.
-Must be competent to the administration and documentation of medication
-Must be competent and fully trained for moving and handling task.
-Must have an undertaking of care support planning and risk assessments.
– Assisting with all aspects of personal care, which will include promoting independence and maintaining existing skills, encouraging decision making.
-Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Key Responsibilities:
-Assisting with all aspects of personal care, which will include promoting independence and maintaining existing skills, encouraging decision making.
-Medication administration and documentation.
-Writing, reviewing and updating care support plans.
-To maintain accurate, concise, up-to-date and timely records of clients in their care documents.
